Personal Statement
I am a certified teacher and I love to teach kids because I love to learn. It makes me feel a great sense of satisfaction when their grades improve along with their self-esteem when it comes to their schoolwork. I love to teach kids because I love to see the lightbulb go on when it finally "clicks."
Tutoring Approach/Experience
I believe that everyone can learn if they try. Therefore, I try my best to build upon kids' background knowledge to reach their learning goals. I have taught and tutored elementary-age students for over 5 years in the subjects of Reading, Writing, and Math. I enjoy helping struggling students reach their potential and also pass their classes and TAKS exams.
