Personal Statement
Medicine is my career and teaching is my passion. I've tutored at every level -- high school, college, and medical school -- and have covered topics ranging from physics and biochemistry to physiology and embryology.
Tutoring Approach/Experience
My teaching style is broad and includes about everything but spoon-feeding. Once we identify a gap in understanding, I like to take a few steps back and start from the beginning. Then we progressively build on the idea, with an emphasis on *we*. Teaching most concepts is like telling a story, and the story is so much better when everyone participates. Passive learning is so passe; with me, you'll always be actively engaged.
