I talk to my students to find out what they are struggling with and I always ask them to explain their thought processes so I can better determine the cause of any reoccuring problems they may be having. I have been very successful in helping students not only increase their grades in a specific subject, but also in helping them increase their overall confidence and improve their attitudes toward school in general.
